Horizon Go: Turn Your iPhone into a TV
Horizon Go is an iPhone app developed by Liberty Global Operations BV that allows you to stream live TV channels and on-demand content from your home TV subscription. With more than 150 live TV channels available to watch at home and 80% of them available on-the-go, depending on your TV package, this app is a great way to never miss your favorite shows or sports events. The app also provides a complete overview of the current TV program, with reminders and a mobile recording function for the Horizon Recorder, even for customers with the Horizon Go Free option.
In addition, the app can be used to watch TV and video on additional screens in your house thanks to the Chromecast/Airplay wireless multi-room light solution. You can also use your iPhone or tablet as a remote control for your Horizon HD Recorder/Receiver. However, it is important to note that a stable internet connection is required for playback, either through Wi-Fi or 3G/4G. Customers with the free Horizon Go version can only stream video with a Vodafone cable internet connection (Wi-Fi at home) in NRW, Hessen or BaWü.
